1. Eligibility

• Hirers must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driving license.
• An international driving permit is required for non-Malaysian license holders.
• The operator reserves the right to refuse rental if the hirer has a record of reckless driving, appears clumsy during the handover of the car, refuses or does not pay attention to the terms and conditions, or shows a lack of confidence in driving skills, especially when handling large vehicles such as MPVs or luxury cars.

2. Booking and Payment

• To confirm a booking, the hirer must place a deposit. The booking will only be considered confirmed upon receipt of this deposit.
• The hirer must send proof of payment to the operator. The operator will acknowledge receipt of the payment once it has been received in the operator’s account.
• The balance payment must be made upon delivery of the car.
• The operator accepts various payment methods including online banking, e-wallets, credit cards, debit cards, and cash.
• For payments by cheque, the cheque must be cleared and deposited into the operator’s bank account before the car delivery.

3. Identification and Documentation

• A valid driving license and passport/ID must be presented at the time of vehicle collection.
• Only the registered driver, as identified during the booking process, is permitted to drive the vehicle.
• The registered driver is responsible for any liability and any incidents that occur while the car is in their possession.
• A copy of these documents will be retained for the operator’s records.

4. Rental Period

• For self-drive rentals, the rental period is based on a per-day basis (24 hours).
• For rentals with a driver, the minimum rental period is 4 hours.
• Extensions beyond the agreed rental period must be requested and approved before the end of the rental period.
• Late returns will incur additional charges calculated on an hourly basis.

5. Prohibited Activities

• Smoking in the car is strictly prohibited.
• Driving on the beach or any non-designated areas is not allowed.
• Consuming alcohol or driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly forbidden.
• Standing on the roof of the vehicle is prohibited.

6. Insurance

• All vehicles must possess insurance in order to be used legally on the road and to obtain road tax.
• Due to the long repair times (one to three months) associated with insurance claims, the operator will not claim from this insurance unless there is a major accident.
• In the event of an accident, the hirer is responsible for paying a sum amount of money up to the maximum liability for each car.
• It is strongly recommended that the hirer purchases a personal travel insurance policy prior to the commencement of their holiday. The operator shall not be responsible for any loss or damage as a result of trip cancellation, personal baggage, personal accident, injury, or illness.

7. Liability

• In the event of an accident, the hirer must immediately notify the operator.
• The hirer is responsible for any damages, loss, or theft of the vehicle during the rental period.
• The hirer will only be charged up to the maximum liability for each car depending on the category:
  • Engine capacity below 2000cc: Maximum RM5000
  • Engine capacity above 2000cc: Maximum RM6000
  • Luxury class (above 2000cc): Maximum RM20000

8. Fuel Policy

• The operator follows a level-to-level fuel policy. The vehicle must be returned with the same level of fuel as when it was collected.
• If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, a refueling charge will apply.

9. Maintenance and Breakdown

• The vehicle will be provided in good working condition.
• Hirers must immediately report any issues or breakdowns.
• The operator will provide assistance for breakdowns; however, hirers must not attempt repairs.

10. Traffic Violations and Summons

• All traffic violations and summonses incurred during the rental period must be paid before returning the vehicle.
• The hirer is responsible for settling any fines or penalties arising from traffic violations.

11. Speed Limits

• The speed limit in Langkawi is 80 km/h. All vehicles are equipped with GPS tracking.
• The operator will receive notifications if the speed limit is violated.

12. Damage and Loss

• Hirers are responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of the vehicle during the rental period.
• The hirer must return the car in the same condition it was received.
• Any damages must be repaired and replaced with new original parts at current market prices plus any labor charges. The hirer is responsible for paying the full cost of repairs.
  • Scratches on the car body which require repainting.
  • Minor or major damage to all front and rear lamps.
  • Broken or smashed windshield, window glass, and wiper.
  • Damage to car seats (e.g., cigarette burn marks, stains, etc.).
  • Fender and bumper bent or fallen out.
  • Any missing or damaged items related to the car.
• All charges are subject to invoices received from the workshop.
• A cleaning fee of RM200 will be charged if the car has a smoking odor.
• A security deposit will be held and may be used to cover any damages.

13. Termination of Rental Agreement

• The operator reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement and repossess the vehicle if the terms and conditions are violated.
